Cool lighting ...

Postby Critter7r » June 14th, 2012, 2:30 pm

I didn't find the product name when I did a search, but ran across this on another forum (a car forum, no less). I see that they raised a bunch of money, has anyone seen these available at a store yet? They're supposed to be available in the summer of 2012 (that'd be now.... although, technically, I guess it's still spring for another couple weeks).

Anyhow, they're cool as *beep*, but the website has them priced at $220.

They do look pretty cool, and depending on the light output, that price is not that bad for front/rear. The FAQ on that website states late summer. It also suggests following along on facebook or twitter for more updates.

Lets be honest, 134 lumens. That is hardly going to light anything. They would be a great tool to be seen, but certainly not a tool to see.

I think they're meant for a city commute, rather than illuminating a MTB trail.

I know when I commute I use a *beep* of a lot more light than 134 lumens...to each their own though.
