my bike should be about a pound lighter and closer to its original geometry by next weekend, and this is coming from a different carbon fork. Ordered a niner fork, wipperman 808 chain (price matched it down $5) and got some serfas silicone grips for free.

You could almost buy a few and make $50 on each of them on ebay. used ones are going for around 300

Do those forks replace 100mm or 80mm travel suspension?

it has a bit longer axle to crown than most rigid forks, im using it to replace a 100mm tora race.

What's axel-to-crown on your Tora Race? I'm going to guess it's something like 505mm. With this fork at 470mm it's going to be like dropping the nose of the bike a good inch. If your frame is designed for this, then great. If not, it might make it a lot more twitchy than you want.

I have road the bike all year with a origin 8 black ops with a shorter A to C. and a bit less rake so this will actually smooth it out a bit and does that ~505 account for the sag? That not to much of a difference condidering i have rode all year with a shorter rigid.

No, it doesn't, but I'd guess you've only got around 12mm of sag (~1/2"). So that'd put you at 490-ish.

I was looking at a Niner fork for one of my older bikes and wanted their 485 A-C steel fork. Unfortunately they were very difficult to find. I ended up selling that frame and getting a new bike with a matching fork, and I like that setup a lot more.
