if THE MAN gets in Creamy's way and keeps crystal closed for a bit longer, you should try to hit boyne this weekend! I'll be there for a few hours on saturday. The trail the race is on is very mellow at a reasonable speed. Nothing is mandatory....it is just fast, twisty singletrack. The people are really low key about the race. If I can work out the timing, I'm going to do the race. I'll be on my 5" XC bike and I'm not worried about it. There is plenty to get you started at highlands, and there will be fun people to ride with and such. Hit me up if you are going to make it and have any questions.

I will go to whatever place is opened. I am just not sure about my work schedule, could be working on Sat, so will have to go there on Sunday.
"Flow" is characteristic of the rider, not of the trail.

Some friends of mine went up there yesterday. Said it was fun. Pretty sandy and a little rough since they're new trails, but lots of fun.

great to hear!!! Yaa, sand, sand, sand, I spend my days pushing the sand away! well probably doesnt help that Crystal is really just a big old sand dune! lol.
Along with new trails we are adding, I will constantly be working on sand abatement! and ways to armour the trails! Glad they enjoyed the trails!

What is the current state of the pumptrack and do I need a lift pass to use it? Was thinking of taking the family up next week and would love to check it out.
