This Friday night at Zero Gravity Skatepark.

Postby urbaindk » December 5th, 2011, 1:24 pm

FYI,

Zero Gravity Skate Park is having a BigMX session this Friday (dec 9) from 10-12midnight. See http://www.zerogravitysk8.com/info.htm and https://www.facebook.com/zerogravityskatepark for details.

Three or four of us Stony Creek regulars are planning on making it out. It would be nice to have a good turn out so maybe they'll do more of these in the future. Good prep for Ray's as well.

From their FB page:

"on December 9th there will be a BMX ONLY session opened up to ages 18+ and up from 10pm-12am called Big Bike Night hosted by Zero Gravity Skatepark and Cycletherapy Bmx. A night designed for 24 inch bikes or bigger (mountain bikes) . Call Cycletherapy or Zero Gravity for more details :)"

Can those of us who don't do this kind of riding just show up and watch without paying admission?

There is a room that overlooks the skate park and you shouldn't have any issues not paying. It's usually packed with teens looking cool.

Bob, I'm not so sure they will let the creapy old man in...could be an insurance liability!

The 10pm session is 18 and over. If he wants to get his creep on, it should be all legal.

???

Got me. Being 39 and well past my little 4 year old riding partner's bedtime, I didn't give it a second thought.

Zero Gravity is a fun park for big bikes. Nothing is too cramped, lots of great long street lines.
I'll try and get out there but I'm not sure what the odds are of that happening.
