I'm in. Is it BYOC or do they provide the chainsaws?

Actually, Bryan Equipment never sent us your certificate and you never inquired. I'll happily ask them for a re-print if you want.

As for BYOC, don't expect to be doing any cutting unless the hosting chapter has proper safety gear and you are at a site that will allow it and has material that needs to be cut. Even if you don't get any hands on, the training is very good and will make you think twice about safety when operating or preparing to operate a saw.

I'm definitely interested. I could provide a Stihl and some "props" (dead branches that not huge) if it would be helpful.

Thanks to everyone who responded. It looks like the interest is there to justify a safety class. I am working with the Stihl rep, trying to get a date in June. I'll post here when I know.
