Yes, the road :D Seriously, there is not a connector through the fence...yet. There has been talk of one for several years now but it has not been built. To get from Addison to BMN you need to use the roads for now.

Rode 2 laps today.... dry and fast!

To the guy on the golf cart in the connector trail, sorry if I came across as rude... you just scared the crap outta me  But, nice job on patching up some of the trail behind you - it flowed nicely!

That's Pauly, the guy who keeps the trail keen.

It has hills and flat parts. :P

Addison is a very flowy trail. There are very few places where you are grinding up hills - most uphills are preceded by downhills. There are many places where you can flat-out fly. If you enjoy Highland or Gruber's Grinder, this ain't your trail. It's closer to the Tree Farm sans the hairpin turns. HTH.

Ok thanks, Yes I love lakeshore and do not like highland, so sounds good for me. Hopefully I can get out there this weekend before the race.. Thanks again.

Lots of work at the bridge area's the fine limestone has been added to the entry and exits of the bridges . This helps keep the wood clean by tracking the abrasive limestone onto the wood , It's self cleaning . I also added some drainage in the lake loop a nasty corner back by the 4 rock garden crossings was rebuilt two rock gardens got a touch up .
The end of the first mile of trail there was some very bad erosion I brought that up to grade , I sprinkled a small very thin layer of top soil to hold everything together . Oh yes I filled in that hole on the right side of double trouble . I would like to repair the roots in the corner in the back corner by the big bridge . See you guys out there Pauly

Pauly, how is the bottom of the big downhill into the lake (if you forget to brake, that is ;))?

The winds of the last two days have been very mean:

There is a tree down across the trail near mile 4.5. Pauly has already been notified, so it may already be gone. :P

The vine "cluster" after the big log in the new section has shifted down again. Taller riders have to duck to miss it.

There is a crap-load of deadfall out there. Be kind to derailleurs and kick it off the trail if you have a chance.

There has also been a crap-load of work done out on the trail. Say "Thanks" to Pauly if you see him out there. :D
