So, you left trash (a broken bike part) just sitting on the trail?

I left a bent rotor on a rock that isn't ridden if that is what you are asking. It matches the snapped carbon seatpost that someon left on the sign right after the Crater.

Some soft areas, but the trail's rideable after the rains. Lots of small branches on the trail - please kick off one or two on each lap and we'll be clear in no time!

I've cleared a couple down trees tonight, but there may be more. Please make note and post them here.

Rode entire trail this morning and counted ~20 trees down blocking trail. The worst is near mile marker 9 just after crossing hiking trail at "frogs pass". You have to back track and then re-join further down along hiking trail which leads to parking lot. Very large tree down after mile 5 will require some very heavy lifting or new bypass.

Spent about half hour riding today and half hour cleaning up the trail. Thier is 4 trees down that require chainsaw in the first three - four miles then then two more out back after the crater. It's in rough shape that storm did some damage for sure. I was off the bike clearing more then I was on it and I only did half the trail. I only had a hour to spare today. Be careful their is a few that sneak up on you if you are going to fast.

How are the trails today? I went on Thursday evening and there was a huge tree the was in the middle of the trail and far across either side just past marker 9. I tried to move it, but no chance. I couldn't even find a way around it. After I tried to go through the trees and picker bushes I turned around and had to use the trailhead return.

Does anyone know if these have been cut?

Trails were in great shape last night. A far cry from last Thursday. Thanks for putting in the work!

So the two uphill log piles before you cross the river, I noticed that there was a bypass line to the right of the 2nd log pile.

Is this legit or a bandit line?

Bandit.

The whole hairpin/plunge/log climb loop already has a formal, signed bypass. We feel that if make the choice to ride it, you should choose to ride the whole thing, or at least attempt to.

(It's really not hard. If this tired, out of shape 50 something TC can ride it on a singlespeed, then so can you.)
