hey Spinwheel, where is the "Disney" section? I have heard other sections named but not seen anything is print as to their locations.

Hi Dean
Disney is the section farthest to the East and its not shown on the current map, unfortunately, but maybe that will change this year. TC Justin came up with the name... most logs that were ridable were left in place - without bypasses - when this section was made - - the idea was to make something a little more difficult to ride and if someone found the section not to their liking they could just bypass the entire section since its only about a third of a mile long anyway.

An impromptu recon ride led to a ride of most of the trail - (I normally don't ride in levis) and most was firm however I would have skipped a few sections with low spots by the river on a second loop... no, I did not leave no trace like Jesus (see Brighton thread) :D Saw a few pizza cuts and some places were healing from a week ago.

Temp was 33 - 31 / rode after 9:30

Targeting my next ride at the Hick sometime Friday night - most SE mich trails should be frozen solid by then.

Did a loop - finally the fatbike rolls in snow. Trail is frozen with about 1 to 1.5 " snow cover. I noticed little to no ice. Temp was 22 - 21 F rode after 9.
Someone did a loop or two before the snow and cut up the trail in many places. Other than that its great - ride it while its frozen!

Trail was frozen and crisp tonight. Temp was 22F and I rode after 8 pm.
No ice, no studs needed. Some sections were dusted white with snow and I could see a set of Fatbike tracks in front of me.

Rode tonight (Friday night) as the snow ended. About 2.5 inches of snow made it a slower than usual ride. I skipped a few sections at the end and as I was riding out at about 10:15, 4 or 5 guys on 4 wheelers rode into the park from Glengary Road.. that was interesting

Ride Saturday before the thaw sunday/monday

I decided to ride here late morning through mid afternoon today, did around 1 1/2+ laps. Good conditions, no ice, but the powder was a bit slippery at times.

Will do - Commerce yesterday was a last minute decision, driving conditions were awful in the morning. Planning on Adrian this morning, seeking deeper snow. I have a new fatbike - also experimented with GoPro mounting yesterday. This snow-melt-snow-melt-snow deal every weekend stinks, I'd like to post some rides in advance. Seems every weekend ride is a last minute decision. Typically I hit the gravel pit when it's thawing, or Rolling Hills Park often is pretty solid just when other trails just start to turn to mush

did a couple laps this morning..tree down at 5.7 miles in, right after the wooden ramp where you are picking up some good speed. Trail was solid with a few icey spots. 44-45 minute laps on studs.
