Rode TK Lawless today and conditions were great. All blown down trees have been removed. The trail is completely dry. Only a few sandy areas. The brambles that hang over the trail in late season are not an issue. The trail is tight , fast and should be sweet for Saturday.

Rode Lawless on 6/9. Its a jungle, again. Trails are good, no down trees or erosion problems, but the overgrowth is enough to knock you off your bike. Any maintenance planned? Let me know, I'll be there with a Weed-Eater...

Rode tk on the 18th, it was a mess. The trail was a jungle with thorns everywhere. There were a few trees down, one so big it was hard to crawl over. A trail day is much needed!

I posted on the NIMBA website to (hopefully) get a trail day together with those guys. I'll post when I know more... Who is responsible for this trail, MMBA or NIMBA?

As of last weekend there was only one real bad section of over growth. And it was bad mainly due to the fact that it was like riding through a giant thorn bush. Luckily I had some sleeves on. A fellow rider wasnt so lucky and he looked like he was dropped into a burlap bag of angry cats. A few down trees but honestly it was in good shape when compared to the past few weeks.

Rode TK Lawless Sunday, October 16. It was sweeeet! I expected overgrowth and found very little. The trail was in great shape. Get out and ride it now because TK Lawless closes November 1.

Does anyone know if TK Lawless is still open?

The prior post says it closed November 1, but Cass County webpage doesn't mention a closing date and the MMBA trail page indicates it is open. I am trying to plan a group ride on Sunday.

Can anyone confirm if the trail is open or closed? I might be going down there this weekend.

I had a message from Scott from Cass County. They are hoping to have the trails open this weekend, but he was not sure. He advised riders to call the update line at 269-476-2730 for additonal trail information. He indicated the information is up to date and will be changed the minute the trail is open. Hope that helps.

The Trail is Open and in Good shape as of Sunday 4-2. There is a fair amount of debri in the trail (small sticks & leaves), but the more it is ridden the better it will get. This was my 1st time on this trail and I will be going back.

Rode TK Lawless Wednesday, April 4. As mentioned in the previous post there is lots of debris (leaves, sticks, branches) obscuring the trail. This will improve once the trail is ridden. One blowdown at the very end of the first loop at the sandy uphill. Trail is dry also.
