When I saw your car I remembered someone saying they drove a towncar but couldn't remember who it was. I got in a wave at the last minute.
I'm leaving town for a week tomorrow but next Saturday (11/26) I have to come to Dearborn for work in the morning and I'll be bringing the bike if the weather cooperates. If so, I'll be riding the Dearborn trails at about 10:00AM. I'll be checking the email all week so if you can make it I'll be there.

The trail was real greasy this afternoon. Kind of fun too. Did a nice Toboe move when my bike washed out on me on the East loop. I only saw one tree down, can't remember where though.
"Nice bruise. What did you hit, a tree?"

"No, the ground."

And did I mention that I nailed the new skinny on my first try? Not that I'm bragging . . .

I met Rich at the trail this afternoon and we cut some more new stuff on the Buckshaver extension.
We completed a new logpile on the section I worked on last week using the logs that someone had put there,
it's good to go. Found the cell phone that I lost last year too, but some animal had been chewing on it.
Saw lots of people out running and hiking on the gravel path while we were working.
Cleared the large downed tree from the beginning of the East loop as well just before it got dark.
I love mountain biking because I haven't found anything that is more FUN !!

Rode to the trail from my house this afternoon between 12 & 2. Rode all the loops except South long & most of Wetland.
Most of the trail was dry, but parts were greasy, many of the usual spots, but Wetlands was really muddy and avoid it.
Saw Mike D (Dej) and his family on a few occasions while I was there. Nice day, lots of cars in the parking lot.

Trail is all clear of deadfall for the time being. "Ride in" the new section of Buckshaver and get it packed down, okay ?
The new log pile rides really nice and smooth, I rode it in both directions a few times.
The new log pile in front of the last long ramp in Lucky Dawg rode nicely as well, better flow now with the dirt on it.
I love mountain biking because I haven't found anything that is more FUN !!

Thanks, that's worse than I thought. I went to Dea and it was not that bad in fact it was pretty good. Most of the trail was dry.

Dang man, that is a lot of standing water on Lucky Dawg. I see that the boardwalk extention and tall bridge are keeping
people out of the mud, but there is definitely a low spot at that one long ramp and new logpile. Might need more of
those wood walkways ?

I got out to the trail yesterday and built two new log piles on Buck Shaver, got back out there this morning with Rich
to put some dirt on them and get them rideable. They are both just north of each of the creek bridges, one is pretty big.
The trail surface was pretty snotty back there as well. Rode the East loop yesterday which was mostly dry.

seems like my 29er friends went through the water very well as we were on the trails yesterday around 1pm, didn't see anyone else out there. Well , it is a flood zone so we have to figure it will be wet

Haha! Who would have thought that you can ride a trail on 26 inch wheels. Psh. That's so 2010.

I rode a few days ago. Messy, but fun. Also on midget wheels.
