Considering today's rain (~0.3 inches), is there any chance that the trail can be ridden tomorrow morning before the Burchfield trail day, or should I go somewhere else (read: Rose Lake)?

Trail was in good shape this AM. Some soft spots, but no mud and only one serious puddle (early on red). No trees down.

Sorry to have missed. Wife is having trouble.
I thought of that while riding my bike.

Trail is in really good shape even after yesterdays rain. Soft in a few spots here and there on all three trails but not bad at all and with another day of warm temps in the forcast I think it will be perfect. One spot on red that has to be walked around but that's about it.

Great conditions today--I was slow after a long road ride yesterday so I took the time to clear quite a bit of loose stuff from the trail. Sticks and such. Lots of folks out there today, riders, dog walkers, day hikers. Don't forget to share the trail and keep an eye out! It's so narrow and twisty out there it's easy to come up on someone suddenly.

The trail has recovered very well from the heavy rain a few days ago, with only a few wet spots remaining. Someone went out and put thin branches in some of these mud/water puddles. It looks cute, but will not last very long, I'm afraid.
Yesterday's wind brought down a lot of branches. We removed several of these tonight, but could not deal with the big tree that came down over red just after the merger with and split from blue. Chainsaw will required to take it off the trail.

Trail is in good shape, just a few soft spots in the usually places on Red. The small sticks are helping to keep some of the bigger pits ridable.

Big tree is still down on Red as described above, definitely needs a chainsaw....or build a massive log pile :)

Beware, also some branches are hanging low on green right after the jump.....as in if you hit the jump you go into the branches. Can be ridden, but I won't recommend it. I tried clearing this but think it will require a bow saw.

Thanks to all who have put in work to keep this trail ridable and interesting!

Removed low hangers after the green loop jump this morning and many sticks from the trail.

The red loop tree is still there...it will require a sawyer with a chainsaw.

Overall conditions were O.K. Few puddles, slick, and some face slappers coming into the corridor (one ride around with hand prunners would make quick work).

Hats off to the folks that take care of Anderson. I was down from TC for my sons soccer game as was able to ride Anderson Park. Great design for such a small area and the trail was in great shape. The ride down Creyts Rd from the hotel was interesting. I'm glad it wasn't during a busy time.
Ever notice how it's always runners who find dead bodies?

There's a larger tree across the trail about half way down the blue path, a little bit after the longer downhill to a sharp right. Probably need clippers or a saw, couldn't move it by myself. Otherwise, amazing!

I cleaned this one off on Wed. There is still a single 6" nub that protrudes. It was at the bottom of the long downhill next to the river.

It took three people but we took this out tonight. Another tree is down on green, just before the turn back up to the switchbacks. It can be cleared on most bikes (or bunny hopped :-)) but it is probably better taken out (chainsaw needed).

Great conditions now; there must have been at least 15 people on the trails when I got there at 7 tonight. Both lots were completely full.

I worked on the Red Loop today, Sunday. The face-slappers and duck-unders are all fixed. I walked the whole thing- pruning back the vines, branches and hanging dead wood. I used my string-trimmer to get extra reach so I could selectively thin out and lighten the canopy while preserving the tunnel effect.

I forgot how very long it takes to walk and trim Red. There were a few folks out riding, more than I usually see on my Sunday rides. All of them caught me by surprise because I had my engine on, my back to them and hearing protection on. No one seemed to mind the slight delay getting my attention. A couple people even stopped to talk.

On Saturday I added a couple more logs to the pile around this down tree. I’m inclined to ride over it rather than cut it out. However, the trail goes slightly uphill from there so it isn’t an ideal place to give up some momentum. What ever you all want to do here is fine with me.
