Just got back from riding MMCC this am. Trail is in great shape, very fast and leaves are not an issue at all.. Hunting is not allowed inside MMCC. Only saw one other vehicle there and one guy riding trail while I was out. Put on 28 miles and it was very nice. Lots of deer and they are not spooked when riding next to them. Most didnt even move. Hoping to ride tomorrow as well. Started riding at 11 am and it was perfect condition weather wise.
Took a break from the in-laws and rode this for the first time this morning. Because of some mechanical issues I had to bail on the green loop back to my car. Great track and I look forward to coming back and riding the entire thing. Oh, it is a bit un-nerving to have deer stand and stare at you instead of fleeing in terror.
Any idea on the trail conditions at MMCC? I'll be coming up to Harrison this weekend to do some riding and would like to try this trail. Also, any other suggestions on other trails in the area to try? I was going to stop in Midland on the way home to the Detroit area on Sunday but it sounds like most of the Midland trails are pretty trashed from the winter. Thanks!
