Race CPS, get a chance to win Velocity Wheelset!

Postby dennismurphy » January 31st, 2012, 11:17 pm

The Championship Point Series would like to thank Velocity for sponsoring the series for the 2012 season.
Updated news regarding our exciting series sponsor...Velocity!

Velocity is the producer of popular high quality wheel sets and rims. This year Velocity is providing a wheel set which can be won by Championship Point Series registered racers.

Velocity will be donating a Blunt SL Pro wheel set which retails at $800. Per the previous announcement here's how you get a chance to win this wheelset

1. You must be a CPS registered racer- which can easily be done by going to BIKE REG https://www.bikereg.com/Net/14674 and registering for the series

2. You must participate in at least five of the ten CPS races.

For each race you enter, you will get one chance to win the wheelset. So, race the minimum five races you get five entries, race six- get six entries, etc.

We will do the drawing on the same date we select as the points finalization date for 2012 and the winner will be contacted at that time.

Follow the details on here. Photos to come. Visit Velocity to see their other products.

But wait there's MORE (Thank you Velocity!)

Velocity will be providing 24 certificates to be given away at each of the ten races. To quote Velocity: "We’ve sweetened the deal this year. We are only offering one incentive and it’s big. Each certificate is for 70% off of any purchase up to a retail value of $1000. This means each certificate has the potential of being worth $700 in savings. That is a pretty sweet deal. The certificates alone value up to $16,800 in savings."

Thanks again to Velocity for these fantastic deals and prizes!!

UPDATE 4.10.2012
Race CPS, get a chance to win Velocity Wheelset!

WOW- The wheelset looks SWEET!~

Thanks to Velocity- I picked up the CPS Wheelset this morning and will post a photo in a couple days-

Just a reminder that to have an opportunity to win this $900 Velocity wheelset you must:
a) Be a CPS registered racer- go to the bike reg site to register- there's NO charge to enter the points tabulation
b) you must race at least five events to have a chance to win the wheelset- and then you get that many chances in the bucket
Race five events have five entries
Race six events have six entries
Etc.

Race four events... sorry- no entries

Five events also puts you in contention for CPS series trophy as well as it is the minimum number of races to qualify

Here's the CPS link to register: http://www.bikereg.com/events/register. ... ntid=14674

Go here for information on the ten CPS races and registration for those: http://www.mmba.org/racing

Haha, not really. I was being sarcastic. Dennis was posting, telling us that there WILL be info soon, as a tease. I was just kidding around.
