That's exactly the way we go. Going to the Osmun crossing via Pigeon Bridge means lots of dirt roads.

I'd be up for a clockwise 50 from Clear Lake if anyone else is interested. We could get a couple of the cars back from Osmun this way.

Hmm, I wonder how far it would be to ride CW from camp to Black River, then dirt road it to 33, then to camp? Skip the Osmun car entirely. Then we just need to find 2 groups for the 35, one CW and one CCW.

Plus there'd be a bar half way down 33 :)

Spandex at the El-Bo Inn... won't we get some funny looks from the locals

With the right amount of arm-twisting, I may be up for this plan. Just have to throw some beer money in the camelpak.

Have a great ride everyone! Something came up last weekend that changed my plans so I can't make it. Hope to make it for the spring ride!

Leaving work @ noon, like to leave here by 1... Towing the camper, so can't make too good of time....

Presumably no 'registrations' are needed to ride this, but in any case: two people coming up from East Lansing. We'll leave at 5 (yes, jobs) so we'll roll into the campground late. Looking forward to this!

there will prolly still be people up when you get there.
no registration, but we have signed in before we roll out. Just to make sure we end up with the same number of people back at camp saturday night. Have had to go looking for people before.
If it gets real dark before you finish just mark up the dirt roads when you cross them that way we know how far riders made it. This summer I rolled in pretty dark, i think they were going to give me another half hour or something.
You going the full 50 (plus if we ride the backwards route)?

Thanks! We are certainly planning for the full 50 but have no idea what we are up for. Normally 50 wouldn't be a huge deal, but if the trail is not very passable it may be different story!
