FYI for those of you that have travel trailers.

Pop up campers will fit in the group camp area, 30' fifth wheels will not. If you are bringing a trailer that's of any size, I'd plan on having to rent a camp site. As promised, camping at the group site is indeed free with volunteering.

*beep*, I thought today was thursday. I kept thinking, only two half days left...... No one half day, a full day, then another half day before I can buy beer and set up camp.

Replaced my front brake cable.. maybe now i will be able to use that one again, the triple trail challenge's mud destroyed it. (well the excellent shape it was in helped i bet)

I'm still planning on the full 80 on Saturday. Any others up for a CCW tour of the whole loop?

IF this sore throat goes away, and IF the Fun50 has a ride leader, and IF you feel like waiting for someone to walk up every hill, I MIGHT be talked into the whole thing

I'll bring my 80 stuff (lights, bag balm, rosary...)

No problem. I'm not firing on all 8 cylinders myself but I know that the weather on Sat. should help motivate us to finish the 80. Hope you can join me.

Planning to be on the trail before 7 AM or as soon as its light enough to ride. Should give us enough time to finish with minimal need for lights on the return.

Again, I don't think anyone is going to be setting any speed records this time. Given the rains, boardwalks will be slick as snot and we may need inflatable kayaks to get through the wet areas. Pray for higher winds to partially dry things on Friday. The rains have been constant today here in Kalkaska. I'm assuming the Pigeon got hit by the same system which covered most of the northern LP.
