Been there like the OP. I feel what you are saying. I love dogs though, and love riding with my friends dog. I hate coming up on them, or having them come up on me like that.

my dog really did bite me when she was a puppy once, so I bit her ear, hard. she never tried to chew on me again.

Ya you're right. You got me, I spend 175 hrs a year building and maintaining trail in southern and northern Mi
just so everyone can ride them . The majority of my riding takes place in the
morning im back and in the shower when you are getting up to take your morning pi$$. The only hiking I do
is with a gun in my hand and it's called hunting. You're right I do like horeses always have, both my parents
came from farming familys so it was natural to have horses. I got my first one when I was 12 had them into
my early 20's still love to go riding at my cousins. Do I want them on a MTB trail f!@# no, I would be the first one
to tell them to get the f%#! off it.

I really don't mind people taking their dogs on the trail, just wish they would clean up after them, like the turd dodging I had to do at Holdridge this am!
