Raven's Ride is a charity ride born out of a conversation with the event organizer's mother in her final day's battling with breast cancer. Her wish's was that money go to a person who is or has undergone treatment for any form of cancer. When her cancer returned in the the fall of 2011 she sought out financial help and found no source that would help her and her family because she had already began treatment.

This year, we will be benefiting Mike DeBolt. Mike has worked for DA Blodgett St Johns for 27 years, a Residential treatment facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After his diagnosis with colon cancer, Mike has had to step back from helping the students he loves and has put a financial strain on his family.

This year’s ride we will have two route’s both will be starting from John Ball Zoo Park and use Grand Rapids trail system.

Our family friendly and beginner route will be 5 miles. Our second route will be 20 miles taking you into the new trails at Millennium Park.

Mechanical Support will be available

Rider Registration cost is 40 dollars. Any family can add on their children under 12 for an additional 5 dollars.

Additional charitable donations will be accepted.

Day of ride registration starts at 8:00 am Ride will begin at 9 am.

The five mile loop is mapped out and will actually be 6 and there will be a very short second of dirt, it was ridable with my road bike so no worries for ya'll. 20 mile loop still needs some work ill keep you posted. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will upload the maps from map my ride.
