Local road group rides?

Is there any good local road group rides (preferably on the weekends) around the north oakland county area? Clarkston, Waterford, ect.

I'm a Rhino. We do several road rides, a dirt road ride and even rent the Waterford Race track for a weekly training session that includes basic group riding, rotating pace lines, various workout (sprints, etc), mock time trials and even mock races.

Does the wojo's ride still happen?

I'm not a rhino so the track days are out, but maybe I can hit some group rides. The pace Dosent look too crazy. I'm not a roadie per say but have ridden on the roads quite a bit up north. May need a refresher on the rules.

Believe it or not I've never done the Wojo ride due to scheduling conflicts. I know it happened all last year and was a popular ride. If you want to confirm the official ride has started you could call up to Kinetic Systems in Clarkston and confirm that ride is on for this week. I'm hoping to make it out for that ride this year as well.

As far as the group rides go they are pretty casual. We keep it single file except when roatating to the back. Stay as far right as possible, etc. When traffic allows we rotate back on the left side. If you're not comfortable pulling just rotate back before you hit the front.

Ill try to make a Sunday ride in a couple weeks after my vaca..

I dont have any problem pulling or riding in a line. Thanks for the info and maybe ill see you out in a couple weeks.
