We thought you just got tired of our ****...

Lovin' the new log ride on green. It's a fair bit easier than the other one. Paul, Tyler, and myself all cleaned it on consecutive attempts.

I managed an endo off the first stunt on green. Pretty proud of that. Got it on video too, and no I'm not posting... ;-)

Nah, you guys give me motivation to ride faster. Even if you act like a bunch of kids at a playground, hey I was your age once too.

Too bad, I wanted to see that! I was wondering why I was so far ahead of you, but the dirt on you from head to toe said it all.

How about Rose Lake, 7:15 pm? It's always good after rains ... and I'll bring my chainsaw. Assuming I can get approval from my wife, that is ... sometimes I don't remember little things I was told about and am supposed to do :-)

If you guys want to get there earlier, you can pinpoint locations where the chainsaw could be useful, then let me know. I work until 6, then have to go home and set up before I can head out to Rose Lake.

Sorry, I didn't see your post in time, or I would have got right on that ;-)

Instead, I made a loop from the Woodbury lot West down the main E/W trail, then North on the main N/S trail, then left after the log pile, then right, left, and left up to the West end of the ridge trail, then down to the main E/W trail, then East back to the Woodbury lot. It is now clear of all of the trees that were down across that path. Surprisingly many. The vegetation, however, was left intact as I didn't have a lot of time and finished in the dark (and rain). Did anybody follow those directions? Probably doesn't matter, because it doesn't sound like many people are riding out there these days anyway ...

Reid I will be checking it out today 12:45! I've only been to Rose Lake once when Steve gave us a guided tour, and I loved it! I plan on getting lost there for a few hours today, lone wolf style.

Just saw this, too late to join you (though I noticed the lone wolf comment, so maybe that's better anyway). Have fun, and I hope you can remember where any more trees are down - I didn't get a chance to get to the South section or the steep parts of the ridge trail, but I'm hoping nothing is down in those areas. There's going to be a lot of vegetation hanging over, but you should still find lots of enjoyment out there!

Not lone wolf by choice! I'd always prefer to ride with someone, especially someone who knows where they are going out there!

Rode Rose Lake today and had a blast!!

If a Paul rides in a forest, and no one is there to see it... did it really happen???

I say no.

Did you find all the good stuff? And why are we posting in the Anderson GR thread about a trail that has it's own thread?!?!?

This

Your Friday ride at Rose Lake may get more viewers if it wasn't in the Thursday Anderson thread...

I think Stony got rained out anyway.

I'll be out to Anderson early, probably around 4:30. Probably won't stay too terribly late. Gotta work at 3am.
