Great beginner Adventure Race - Summer Quest

Anyone interested in doing their first adventure race should check out Infiterra's Summer Quest race. It's a short 4 hour race that combines running/hiking, biking, paddling, and orienteering. It's only $45 and the paddling is optional so you don't have to do it if you don't want to spend the extra coin on a rental. The Infiterra crew puts on a nice race so you won't be disappointed.

Infiterra puts on awesome races. If you like the Summer Quest, also consider doing the 7 hour December Chill. It's a lot of fun and gets you outside for some nice crisp late fall biking, paddling and trekking.

John- So how was the race? You have fun?

The only thing I'm regretting is not having worn long pants. My legs are shredded.

I DID have fun. The hills on Fox Lake Rd were brutal, and I too wore shorts and look like the cats used me for a scratching post. I missed an easy CP that I blew by on the road, but not only was I ranked, I wasn't DFL. Which surprised me. I'll be doing this one again.
