yeah I've been doing a ton of hiking with Louie, hopefully I'll get cleared to ride after the surgery this tuesday and then watch out

Lets say I want to ride stony after dark. Park at the high-school and ride in? What is the likelihood of me getting hassled if I stick to the trails? My light is plenty bright, I just wanna see how well it shines on the singletrack.

Do not ride stony after dark! I was caught one night by park rangers. I was shackled, beaten for hours, burned with cigarette butts and had to watch as they hacked my bike to pieces. Not cool. Plus they threatened to cut my ear off if I rode in the dark again. Like reservoir dogs.

It was crazy. I've since sold my bike lights.

Of course, you failed to disclose the part about them questioning you regarding sensitive information about strange plants growing around the boat launch being the reason for this treatment. ;-)
