How do you get the day pass? Seems there is never anyone there to take money.

You only need to pay for parking when the booth is staffed.

I had a great time. I tried 4 logs. Was successful on 2. The last one (after the crater) I came off just in time to hit the supporting log at the far end. Wheel looks fine but it does not spin well any more. I am thinking I could take it apart. Maybe a cleaning and repacking would help. Otherwise, anyone got a front 26" wheel with disk brake mount for sale?

There was a little mud on the trail this morning, but it's probably mostly dry by now. Ride is on!

Frightfully warm 95 degrees at ride time. Bring hydration!

No, I won't. I have to work at Cobo tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Will make for a pretty *beep* day. So, I rode hard today.

I might not see you next week, either. It depends on when I go up to Cheboygan. If I go up on the Fourth, then I'll see you. We'll see.
