I was wondering about this. I'm thinking about making the trek up to do Poto again next week and I'm wondering how the leaves will be. Lots of roots in spots and I'd like to be able to see them. Does the weekend Poto traffic really get rid of the leaves substantially? I'm hoping to ride Poto on Monday or Tuesday of next week (10/31 and 11/1)...

It never came and the trail never softened. Tomorrow looks to be just as good if you get out in the morning. The only difference is it looks like there might be a slight dusting of snow on the ground.
