You can't have a northern Michigan chapter forum without appreciating northern microbreweries. :-D

KBC contributes to the mountain biking culture in Houghton. ;-)

So, seriously, why do we have a northern forum?

Di, maybe this forum is in response to the opossum-in-the-tree shenanigans that went down in the basement (shame on you...you evil girl you!?) :twisted: :lol:
Seriously, I wonder as well. I don't think there are MANY Northern LP or UP riders who frequent this board on a regular basis? I could be very wrong. Maybe they are just quiet or out there hiding? Hmm... :wink: Ah well, whatever the reason, it's good to see a new, clean place to post "northern" topics. I'm thinking it will be useful in digging up more riders closer to home? :P

I was excited to see there’s an MMBA Northern Chapter forum now (I’ve been absent from the board for several months). We come and visit the Keweenaw quite often and the riding is great! We’ll be up the week of February 18th for some skiing/snowmobiling fun (I wonder if I should bring my bike?). I know some Full Gale Pale Ale from Keweenaw Brewing will be in order.

You are right, we are out riding in the cold, snowy conditions. And sometimes skate skiing.
