Sherpa - I am just getting back ino riding after not being on a bike for over 2 years. In fact, I'm just today picking up my new ride. I don't belong to the Metro-South Chpt, but would like to lend a hand on Sunday. I'll plan to bring what tools I have and wait for someone to tell me what to do. I'll see you and introduce myself on Sunday.

As an aside, I work with Sherri Zimmerman at Masco and understand that your setting up a Vaggo Jabberwocky 29er for her! Sounds pretty intimidating and painful!

I found someone to cover me at work on Sunday. I should be out to lend a hand. :D
Responsible Consumer Announcement: If the place you buy mountain biking gear from is not at trail days, you need to find a real mountain bike shop.

Great time at the trailday today, we got a lot accomplished. The mud pit is no more! Thanks to all who came out and trimmed and moved mud and logs.

Huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped today...Yes the biggest project was the mud pit...But we also had a lot of people trimming and knocking down berms (water holding berms) to help the rest of the trail.

Now the big ole mud pit will still get some tweaking and added limestone once we get the top few layers compacted a bit. I rode after with Joe (Hockey Daddy) and Dave (OD). We did see the downed tree in the Sanatorium. I think Dave and i can cut that out this week...if the DNR doesn't beat us to it.

Again I can't say enough about the amount of work and problem solving that came out of the group today...Thanks again
