Camping at Hoffmaster this weekend, any good roads/route recommendation leaving from the park? Don't really know the area at all.
Have I mentioned today that we're all freaking doomed?

I ride roads further north around Stony Lake/Pentwater area and can make recomendations if you plan to ride that far but start looking around this site. http://www.mapmyride.com/search?txtLoca ... geNumber=5

Also ride or drive down to Velo City in Holland for the Tuesday night ride. Good group. Nice loop.

How far do you want to go?

Just follow the lakeshore, north or south out of the park, the Shoreline Route, or something like that.

North it goes about 10 miles to Muskegon, where you can hop on a paved trail around to the north side of Muskegon Lake, then Lake Ave. west along the north side of Muskegon Lake all the way to Lake Mich (at Muskegon State Park), then north along Lake Mich all the way to Whitehall.

Or...south to Grand Haven, hug the shoreline along Lakeshore Dr. to Port Sheldon, Holland and beyond.

Good stuff either way.
