Still can't find the answer to my questions and I looked through all of that before I posted my question Di

J.knight wrote:Registration is now open. Click Here to visit the new outdoorathlete.com website. The event is free, but if you pre-register it will save you and us time and get you onto the bikes asap.

Update: A Lights & Motion sponsored Night Ride/Demo will be held at Island Lake Recreation Area on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Meet in the Dodge Parking Lot (the same lot as the Demo on Saturday). The event will raise money for Michigan Youth Cycling. There will be many Light & Motion Lights available to test for a dollar donation to Michigan Youth Cycling. Contact Jeff Buerman at theqsportsgroup@gmail.com or 734-564-7395 for more information.

I knew I saw it somewhere, and I have no idea how I missed it but I did.

Looks like the weather conditions will not be completely optimal on Saturday. :icon_rambo:

Saturday
Cloudy and windy. A chance of light showers. Highs 42 to 46. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph...becoming northwest 15 to 25 mph late. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Looks like this kid is going to have a lot of bikes to ride tomorrow!

All the rain is going to firm up the trails and temps will be perfect for a personal best at ILRA?

Anybody want to throw down?

:D

I'll be there tomorrow, mud and all...at least i wont have to clean the bikes afterwards.

I wont be throwing down with anybody though, i'm hoping to try out some singlespeeds; GT Peace 9'r, a Fisher Rig &/or Superfy, etc.

Anyone know if Redline will be there with a Monocog?

Any other suggestions for 29'r singlespeed bikes i should test ride?

I will have out there some Chocolate milk and some White milk for everyone to try. I also will have some lemonade.
There will be other things to try as well but you have to come over to see what they. there is going to be balloons for the kids as well and if you guess the percentage of the white milk right you get a prize! :D

Also Oberweis Dairy is letting me offer the following to everyone that signs up out there.

NO Delivery Charge for 6 months ($100 value)
A Sample of Oberweis Premium Roast Coffee(while supplies last)
And a you will get another $1 off the 15% off on the bundle packs.

30 mph winds, 46 degrees F, and probable rain.

Is this really still happening?

Just want to make sure.

What size do you ride? I could throw mine in the trailer, but its kinda steeply geared for the flat ILRA, I spin out at 12mph
In transition to the northland.

Lots of bikes to try. So if you can endure the worst imaginable weather, you'll have a ball.

Just saw this...thanks for the offer though.

Heading out there now...strong winds, cold, slight rain....probably not the best day to be testing a non-geared bike...
