Free open BMX riding

Postby tools mctool » May 15th, 2010, 10:33 am

Waterford Oaks is having their BMX kickoff today 5-15-10. Free BMX riding from 12-5 pm and free bike and helmet rentals too. Great for those who like to ride but not race (or pay $$$).
I'm heading out.
Go out and jump somethin' already.

Big boy bikes are always allowed. I raced my MTB there last year, cruiser class is 24" and up.
I had alot of fun today fo' sho', riding with my step-son and my old friend "the speed queen" Melanie Cline. There were a few other big bikes out there.
Go out and jump somethin' already.

I'll chime in here too because I just checked out the bmx track in Lansing. They're totally redoing it this year and it looks AWESOME. There's even a pro section/line/whatever. Supposedly it's going to be ready for a race this Friday. In any case, it's always open and free to ride except when practices or races are going on. I'll probably be there almost every day this summer around 4:15.
