Anyone know if they groomed the trail for xc skiing yet? How much snow does Cadillac have right now?

thanks

I don't know if the trails are groomed, but Cadillac has about a two-feet of snow on the ground.

They were having trouble getting funding for the groomers this year, but I think they finally got enough donations to fire them up.I'd guess that Roger has already been out there, but let me e-mail him and check.

Hey Volklgirl

I went up there today. It was not groomed or even skied on past post 8. We broke quite a few miles on trail in for one *beep* of a 2:15 workout. Let us know if it will be groomed soon. It would be awesome if you kept us up to date on this site:

Ever ski MacKenzie trail out by Caberfae? Not sure if tracks are set. They always have a lot more snow as soon as you get west of Cadillac. I biked it years ago and it's got some good hills if I remember correctly.

Per the head grooming guy, the DNRE wants to do the grooming this year and were supposed to start on Friday, 12/17. He said he was just waiting to see that happen. I'm not a XC skier, but I'll try to keep on top of the latest info for you.

I don't know if they're grooming Mackenzie but I'm moving to that side of town so I should be able to go the extra mile or two west to check it out! I know it gets 0 lovin in the summer.
