Triathletes and swimmers...

Just thought I'd throw this out there for any of the Tri-folks and swimmers.....

If you've been putting time in the water over the winter working on improving your swim, East Kentwood HS is hosting the 2011 Masters Swimming state championships this spring, April 15th-17th. Events will include: sprints (50 yards) of all strokes; the 1650 (aka "the mile"), the 1000 and the 500 free for you triathletes looking to set goals/improve your swim; and the 100/200/400 IM's. Competition is open to anyone 18 yrs and older. Competition categories are separated by gender and 5 year age increments.

We are working on finalizing the meet sign up information, which will be posted on the Michigan Masters Swimming website: http://www.michiganmasters.com. It should be up in the next week or so. If you have questions, feel free to PM or email me directly.

It would be a great way to head into the tri-season!
