Unless it is pouring rain or thunder and lightening the trail day should be on. Working in a light to even steady rain is not to bad. We may have to play it by ear once we get a better idea of the weather on Friday/Saturday. I will leave it up to Jake to cancel if needed.

I agree, unless its pouring I will be there. We should have a pretty good showing of people if everyone shows up that said they would so far there will be 10-12 people there. I can easily whip through a section alone with my backpack blower so I think we should be able to clear the entire park in a couple of hours. The down trees may be the only exception.

My wife and I won't be able to make it tomorrow. The shingles on my roof are sliding off (don't ask) and I will be spending the day repairing it.

The trail is completely cleared. All of the leaves and trees have been taken care of. Thank you everyone for coming out there was an excellent turn out. The tunnel section is really the only thing not rideable right now. Still really muddy in there.

It was nice riding the trails after cleaning them up. Now we have to get in there and mark some trees with paint so it's not so confusing.

Rode all trails but the tunnel. I figured it was still messed up from the rain, so I skipped it. Most trails were in fine shape, but the schoolhouse had quite a few downed trees/logs/sticks on it. I spent a lot of time clearing them off the trail. It almost seemed like they were put there intentionally because no other trail was like that. Not long after clearing off a tree and riding a little bit would I come across another one.

I think it is just the health of the trees on that trail. The last two years there has been a a lot of stuff coming down. More trees are dying or just losing limbs. Good to hear it wasn't a total disaster out there.

Just back from riding everything but 3 & 4 and tunnel, trails were in pretty good shape considering all the wind we've had the past few days. Saw quite a few people out on the trails, good to see them getting some use.

I only rode a few trails and everything looked pretty good. Matt that was me in the parking lot with the black Honda. I cleared a few small branches from the trails as I rode. It looks like a small section at the beginning of the North trail was missed, but other than that I haven't come across much. Oh just as a side note if you cut through the field from the North side of the park to section 3 its really wet.

Just back from riding most of the trails. They are in ok shape, the worst is the North trail, lots of sticks/branches down there mostly before the first bridge. I picked up alot but there is still alot there. I was going to hold out until tomorrow for the group ride but after seeing the forecast I figured I better get out now.
I also agree with Craig's earlier post where it sure looks like some of the debris on the trails looks intentional.

Rode the trails today. Except for the tunnel, which I assume is a swamp. There are a couple trees down on the 1-4 trails and 1 on the north. Other than that, they weren't in too bad of condition given all the rain we have received. They were drying out nicely, but it's raining again (yippeeee!).

Tree down on the museum and tunnel. Though, the tunnel isn't completely dried out (getting there) and is in bad shape. Trees where sorta cleared from the 1-4. Stick all over the trails, as usual.

Rode here for the first time with the babe today. Trails are dry and clear. Lots of tight turns, roots and nice climbs made for a bit of a fun challenge.

However, they are in DESPERATE need of markers...this made for a not so fun challenge and ultimately led us to cut our ride short. We parked close to the pool and entered at a 1 & 2 marker, made our way onto the trail and met a 3 way fork with no clue as to where to go. We went left and after about 10 minutes ended up heading thru a field that ended at a road thanks to another unmarked fork. We turned around went thru the field and ended up hill at another fork...on this went for another 3 miles before we finally called it a day.

I ran this blind last year, using only the online trail description and no map. I did eventually find my way thru it all, but more than once wondered if I was on the right track or hopelessly lost.

It's not the most noob friendly place I've ridden. It was fun though. Ride some trail. Hunt for trail. Rinse and repeat....
