Any talk with Ottawa County about new trails near GVSU?

Has there been any talk with Ottawa county about developing any mtb trails in the newly acquired 100 acre property by GVSU? I just saw in the Grand Valley Advance newspaper today that there is a "sneak preview" of the Grand River Ravines Park Thursday, June 9, from 4 to 8pm. They say that "preliminary plans call for hiking trails as well as a paved pathway for biking, in-line skating...." The article can be read here:

we did talk, they dont have an interest in singletrack trails there but we are looking at another property and it looks better than this one!

Just took a ride out to the property by GVSU. Ravines is an appropriate name! What a beautiful piece of property!

I met a young woman out on a road ride in Millenium yesterday evening that talked about riding here and may be interested in becoming a coordinator for the area- hopefully she will check in on the forum to which I directed her and we can move this type of activity along
