Also which license do I need to purchase? It is a little confusing as to which one I need for a one day race. Do I need to do this online at the USAC website or can you just purchase one at the race day of?

You can buy a one day / day of at the race

Thanks Anne! I think I am going to give this a shot. Going to give it a try on the SS MTB and if it's something I enjoy a new set of dedicated cross tires will be going on the Christmas list for the new bike.

Excellent. Have to warn you that CX is highly habit forming. It's a blast.
Of course it enables one to pursue getting another bike

Sorry Annie,

I thought the race was Saturday. I am racing at Pando on Sunday, and thus will not be able to attend the race back in E.L.

Perhaps the next one...

Low key CX = fine openers 8)
Okay ... you'll get a pass on this one but 35 min of C racing going easy would be a fine day of prep.

Planning on doubling up myself. Pando at 9, SoA at 3, and Beers at 4:30.

Is there more info available for this race? I can't find any of the basic info at the Stomach of Anger website. You know, like where is the course located (more specific directions than "Lansing")?

I am on my phone, or I would post a link.

Try stomachofangercx.com, I think that is the site.

It is at the old Red Cedar Golf Course, the corner of Michigan and Clippert. (Just east of 127)
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

On Two Wheels, Jackson, MI
Unless specifically stated - these are my thoughts, not official statements of the MMBA or the MMMBA

As noted above it's super close to 127 between Kalamazoo street and Michigan Ave.

So much for that. Clipped a tree with my elbow on one of the downhill sections on my second lap at Maybury today. Got in a third lap and it felt ok but that was probably just from running on adrenaline. Now that I am home and sitting here relaxing it is hurting pretty bad.

That's not good news. Here's hoping things feel better fast on that one.
