Yes, the race is on regardless of snowfall, assuming the ground is frozen. The school grounds guy has his snowmobile ready to help clear the trails if necessary.

Are you talking about the Friday night ride? We get anywhere from 3-9 riders. If we get buried tonight and tomorrow during the day I'm not sure if anything will be ready for riding. I will update on the ride forum.

It will be interesting to see how how the conditions end up. The ground is very wet under the snow due to it coming down while the ground was relatively warm. But tonight it will drop below freezing and should cause the top layer to freeze. There is not as much snow in the woods so it might actually freeze the ground as well. We have had the snowmobile over the trails to compress the snow and allow it to freeze overnight as well. Now it is just wait and see what the morning brings.
