Thinking about heading over there on saturday--I'd love a trail conditions update toward the end of the day tomorrow if anyone gets the chance.

I walked about two miles of Y.S. this morning and it seems to be dry and ready to go .

I put in quite a bit of time on the trails there yesterday. The majority is in great shape. We did not get much rain here last night/today. Saturday looks to be good!

As of yesterday, they (2 tracks) still have some sloppy spots. The gravel roads are all pretty darn good.

Sorry Sally....Just saw this...

Thanks for stepping in Cramer :D

We did get some on/off snow down here this morning....just enough to get things a little wet. Nearly dry now. Conditions this weekend will be pretty good. The more shaded portions of the two-tracks will be wet/slippery due to not being exposed to the sun as much, but all in all it should be a great time. Lots of folks will be out there to join in with.

Have fun!

Drove to Hastings on a lark and dropped down a Yankee double tap, the latter lap being a leisurely cool down night ride. What can I say? Trail conditions are darn near sublime. Firm trail. No deadfall. A mere few dark spots in the Earth where mud used to be. By far the biggest issue with this trail is it's distance from my house.

I am concerned about the state of mountain biking in this state. 3 hours at the trailhead, and not a soul in sight. Oh well, I guess that's y'alls problem. I'll take a solo ride of solitude on prime singletrack anytime. :-)

Just *love* how much tight singletrack is out here. What a ride...
