Firm trail. No deadfall. A mere few dark spots in the Earth where mud used to be. By far the biggest issue with this trail is it's distance from my house.

I am concerned about the state of mountain biking in this state. 3 hours at the trailhead, and not a soul in sight. Oh well, I guess that's y'alls problem. I'll take a solo ride of solitude on prime singletrack anytime. :-)

Just *love* how much tight singletrack is out here. What a ride...

Riding on week days is great, ain't it? 8)

I rode wednesday around noon and there was quite a bit of cars in the lot. Glad to see trail is in good shape for this time of year.

Pretty sure that was your big Dodge we saw as we were finishing up our first lap of the main trail, nice truck. Saw a girl sitting in the passenger side and one bike in the back but never saw you. I am guessing you were out on the trail. Hope you had a nice ride, it was starting to soften up quite a bit towards the end with the sun being out so we only did one main lap and two laps of the warm up trail and called it quits.

Yup, that was us. The GF was feeling sick a little ways into the trail so she turned back. It was a beautiful day for a ride wasn't it?

What was with the loose cassettes out there today? 2 of them?

Yankee is in outstanding shape, please go ride here instead of tearing up a soft trail. Absolutely 100% perfect conditions.

Yankee rarely gets much better then it is right now. Trail is in great shape and there looks to be a few reroutes coming in the near future from some of the flags that are out there.
