15th works fine for me. I already have it on my calendar.
What is the general starting time, 9-10?

Bump for next Sunday. Still looking at 0930? Maybe 10 would be a bit nicer... ;)

We gonna 'man up' and do this thing? Forecast says warm and wet early. Warm and isolated wetness later.

I'm not scared. I can be down there roundabouts 9:30 or 10. Anyone still in???

I am gonna try to push it back to 10. I will assess in the morning when I wake up to see if it is worth the trip.

Not going to be able to make this one. Got three trips to Yankee under my belt this year so I don't feel to bad about missing out. Have fun guys and rip it up if you make it out there!

I'm out. It looks like this weather has been non-conducive to riding.
It looks like the weather may turn around noon, but I am not sure what the amount of rainfall has done to the trail.
Weather.com says 1.36" of rain have fallen already today.

EDIT: After discussing with some others in the area, I am going to make the trip over, riding around 10.

It's been pretty wet up my way too. Maybe next month...

Sunday, May 20th, I intend on riding the Trifecta Tour over by G.Rap. Great event last year on 3 quality trails. Adding Cannon Twp to the mix this year, and I'm thinking maybe we should fire up the grill at the end and have a little post ride refreshment.

Note that this is a fundraising event for 50 in 5, so there is a registration fee. Well worth it.

RVD and I rode this last year, but it would be great to get a group out this time. Think about it. Mark your calendars. Hope to see some of you out there.

Nice pitch. You should put it on FB as well.

Man, this is the day after the 3/6 hour race at Bennet! Not sure I can handle a six hour race and then do this as well. At least I have some time to think about it though, this one sounds like fun.

The Trifecta would be great for a chapter group ride; it is quite long though so maybe not attractive for everyone. It is easy however to bail on the last trail. I will be out of town for this and Bennett 3/6, unfortunately.

In other news, Yankee was awesome today; I made it out there quite late but got two laps in.

Hahahahaha... at least 3 of us MMMBA riders out there on the day of the group ride... all riding separately. :-) We really are dysfunctional.

Yankee was awesome, *except* for that new section they just cut in, which is still soft and slow rolling.

The timing of the Trifecta/Bennett Race is really unfortunate. That was easily one of my top rides last year. :-(

Those of you that decided to stay home in bed today missed some excellent conditions at Yankee. I don't know how many people have commented "trails is in the best shape they could remember"

Fast, damp, not wet. Sand was under control.

No more Bennett race means I'm bumping this idea back to the top. I aim to bring some charcoal, meat, a cooler, and some Irish Stout. Y'all can bring something, or nothing, but do bring yourselves. Unlikely to regret.

What about this for a June (Saturday June 23) Mid State Group Ride: http://northern.mmba.org/index.php/longandshorts/? It is a fully supported point-to-point ride over the North Country Trail with distances of 55, 28 and 16 miles.
