any other suggestion of rental places? trails edge doesn't have any bikes for rent. Also when i was in la rei had mountain bike classes, but they dont here in michigan. Has anyone heard of any in the area?

D&D has demo bikes no charge. At least the Brighton shop did last year and you can ride to ILRA from the shop.

We do now. I just rode a Salsa Spearfish that is part of the demo fleet. Currently, there are 3 sizes of Spearfish, and 3 or 4 sizes of Cannondale Jekyll's. More to come as well (it's still early in the season)
