Slingshot questions

Anyone have any feedback on the new Slingshot Ripper29, or the Slingshot technology in general? I am going to get a demo bike for a test spin, but would appreciate anyone who has had some long term experience. Some of my specific questions are:

Going to run it with a rigid fork. How much more forgiving is it then a standard rigid bike?
Anyone run it singlespeed?
Any other things to consider?

I rode a Farmboy all last summer, but with suspension fork for most of it. I did throw on a rigid fork for iceman. It does provide some relief compared to the rigid aluminum frame I'm riding while I wait for my ripper. I just bought the frame fork combo they are offering. I don't think you will be disappointed. Very fun bike.
