This is just stupid. What's the benefit? Many pros race on 1x10 now. They don't need a 42 in the back.
Also 11 speed chains??? I give up. There's been a marked change in performance as drivetrains have evolved from 8 to 9 to 10 speed. As the chains have narrowed smooth shifting in poor conditions (wet, muddy, dirty) has gotten worse and worse. SRAM top end components in particular have become particularly bad in this regard.
The only reason to push mtb drivetrains toward 11sp like this is to get people to buy more garbage.
