Sometime in the last week there has been some really shoddy bandit work and littering at the pumptrack. I picked up all their litter and fixed stuff up a little bit... but be careful on it. They've been cutting really shady lips here and there... nothing safe, sustainable or cool. I'll finish all the repairs this weekend when I replace the transfer shovel they stole and bring some more water jugs. There has also been a fare share of riding the track on wet days and I have some pizza cutter work to repair as well. If you see white buckets blocking the drop-in, use caution and assume I'm in the middle of repairs.

Pics or it didn't happen....

Cleared it once and that was good enough for me.

Thanks. Happens from time to time - at expert, at the crater, and at the pump track. On the plus side, you know exactly how much work it is to move that pump track dirt around - they will tire of this shortly. Perseverance always wins.

I was out there today and I saw no litter at the pump track. I rode it a few times and it was good. This was my first time out there so I don't know if it is the way it is supposed to be, but it seemed to be in great shape. Actually, I don't recall seeing any litter anywhere on the entire trail. Then again I was moving pretty fast.

Overall the trail is in great shape.

Biting flies.... especially bad near the pump track. Tried to get some digging in but it was a war and I had to keep moving. Don't slow down back there... they can't seem to get a good bite in when you're at top speed, but they might follow you for a while.

17 cars parked at 12 1/2 and Dixon tonight. This won't end well.

that's a cool shot! I'll confirm that it's fast and dry out there.
Don't worry. It's all downhill from here.

Couple/few laps out there this morning. Like pretty much every trail in the lower part of the state, it could use some rain. Fast and hard packed, with some slick corners.

I like the uphill log piles. At first I thought it was pretty sadistic to add such a feature, but they rolled smooth. Nice work.

Yeah, those piles are an interesting challenge. I can make the first, but I stall on the second. I know the day is coming though!
