Mountain biking advocacy is strongest when it is a local, grass-roots effort. That is why the MMBA is divided into nine chapters serving different regions of the state. While the state organization tends to administrative work, statewide advocacy issues, and unites the local chapters to create one strong voice, the individual chapters concentrate on local trails and develop relationships with local land managers while creating sustainable mountain bike trails close to home.
You don't have to be an MMBA member to participate in the local advocacy efforts of your area chapter. Browse through the chapters, below, to find the one that maintains trails in your area, and visit their website, forum, or even their Facebook page to find out how you can help.
