It is with great please that the MMBA announces the Mountain Kids is back and fully operational.
As many know, earlier this year the Mountain Kids trailer was stolen with all its equipment and needed to be replaced. With the help, dedication, and donations from individuals and corporations, such as South Lyon Cycles, Timing Guys, Motor City Bootcamp, Armadillo, and American Cycle and Fitness. Mountain Kids now has a new larger trailer along with new bikes, helmets, tools, etc.
It can’t be express how thankful and generous all the donations Mountain Kids received along with all the volunteers who have helped put the program back on its feet. Your efforts will make an immediate difference in the lives of the children who come to our events.
For one thing, we are going to use the gifts to bring better awareness to Mountain Kids and the kids themselves will be riding on better safer bikes allowing them to experience the thrill of mountain biking.
You can witness all the exciting changes and even volunteer and one of our upcoming events. Check back here for our future events.
Thank you again for your donations and kindness.

"I was astounded, and deeply touched, by your Mountain Kids program - from the warm relationships between our students and your bikers to the festive, energetic atmosphere from your total and complete organization of the day's events to the camaraderie among your bikers. Thank you for providing our students with a day of fascination, glory and excitement..." School Social Worker - Mt. Kids event, June 2000
