The Championship Point Series (CPS) is Michigan’s premier grassroots racing series.
The CPS raises funds to support local chapters in their ongoing advocacy work and trail improvements and supports state-level advocacy. The race series attracts all levels of racers from the first-timer to national and world champions. The races are exciting and competitive, as well as beginner-friendly for those wishing to try their first mountain bike race. See this CPS Rules link for more information.

*5 Saturday races make up the series. Your best 5 races will count toward the 2021 CPS points. Again awarding Custom Jerseys to the top 3 in each class at the post-season awards banquet. Restructured the elite and expert classes were new for 2020. Points earned in a class will stay in that class. You may again earn awards in 2 different classes…if you move up or race a second class. We encourage you to move up a division or class once you podium in the series. Must be registered for the MMBA CPS to earn points before racing a CPS race.
